Run #3 - Christmas run

Jingle balls, jingle balls! It's that time of year again! Join us for Lyon H3 Christmas run!

When : Sunday 15th December 2024 at 14:00

Where : Place Bellecour, Meet at the north east corner of the Place, by the Metro exit, just accross from the Crédit mutuel.

What: It's Christmas, please wear appropriate green or red hashgear, your best Santa outfit or your uggliest Christmas Jumper!

On after: we will go to the Christmas market after the run, and warm us up with a well deserved mulled wine!

Run report

Encouraged by the older experienced hashers, our hare got convinced to set both, walkers AND runners trail... so he went for a 42km running trail, and 5km wanking trail... little did he know, the pack, all dressed up in the latest Christmas fashion, turned out to be lazy and just wanted to walk... bummer...

 Well, anyway, even with this short walking lengh, the hare got our hashers sweating and suffering, as the trail was actualy going up, up ...

 and up...

 But the view at the top was worth it, and the Mulled Wine stop well earned!

 

Some went then back down faster than others...

 

Many Christmas Carroll stops were encountered on the way, keeping the pack warm, and the muggles entertained. (Guess which one is this one :

More songs and down down followed during the circle. The virgins had fun and drank a good amount of the beer ... 

On after was had at the nearby Christmas market (open this time!)

Run #2 - Beaujolais Hangover run

Is your head still hurting from drinking too much of that Beaujolais nouveau? Or are your legs killing you because you were carzy enough to run the Marathon du Beaujolais?

Well, let's grab some fresh air and get rid of that hangover!

 

When : Sunday 24. November 2024 at 12:00

Where : Entrance of Parc de la Tête d'Or (49 Boulevard des Belges/Rue Tête d'Or)

How to get there from Part-Dieu train station: 10 min bus ride (line C1 or C6).

Bagdrop : probably not a big one. Leave your heavy shit at home or in the leftluggage at the train station

Run report

 

Legend has it, there was a beautiful trail set in the Parc de la Tête d'Or ... best trail ever... just... because of the weather, the parc got shut down 1 hour before trail start... what a luck for our hare ...

 

 

But nevertheless there was a plan B trail, in very virgin territory...

 

 

Off course the visiting racists had to show their achievments from the day before.

 

Our first time beermeister got to the beerstop on time with the precious liquid.

 

 

A couple of visitors, 4 virgins, and amazingly some local hashers... just too lazy to have hashed in Lyon before.

 

 

Circle was had, with limited amount of booze (shop exeptionnaly closed as well), but with bubbles, and a few bottles of Beaujolais nouveau.

 

First naming of Lyon H3, was the one of a dog, Just Vid's bitch : now know as "Lipsdick".

And guess what... the on-after at the Christmas market didn't happen either... due to the weather!!
